Data and System Planning (DSP) and Global Port Training (GPT) are happy to announce the start of a strong partnership. Both companies believe that the strength of any terminal or port operation relies on stevedoring and the physical handling of containers and commodities in conjunction of smart technology and equipment: during vessel operations, horizontal transport, stacking, receipt and delivery at the gates.

By combining forces, DSP and GPT bring significant benefits to their customers, since together they cover the entire operational process from planning to execution. Having trained operators on the ground ensures that the planning strategies and individual moves generated by the TOS system are executed on time, correctly and with respect for the cargo and the equipment.

GPT contributes to the overall productivity and profitability and sustainability of ports and terminals in every aspect, while reducing wear and tear and maintenance cost of the equipment.

DSP is expert in optimisation of TOS and business process improvements with the target to use at best and gain the most from what you have: people, space, equipment, infrastructure.

DSP and GPT work together on projects for existing terminals and greenfield terminals handling any type of commodity.

“It is even through our experience on terminal automation projects that we learned how the human factor is still relevant and fundamental for project and operations success – says Marco Fehmer DSP CEO”.

“We strongly believe that this partnership we will enable our customer to achieve new unexpected success” – confirms Nico Berx, GPT CEO.
