Global Port Training

Partner since 2020

DSP and Global Port Training (GPT) joined forces in January 2020 to bring significant benefits to their customers, since together they cover the entire operational process from planning to execution.

Global Port Training (GPT) is specialised in all matters related to port and terminal operations and active in 4 main domains:

  • Audit, Consultancy and Engineering: reviewing design of terminal from an operational perspective auditing operations and operational processes, design and optimising operational processes and procedures, specifying equipment, supervising equipment commissioning and improving ergonomics.
  • Selection and assessment of candidate crane drivers: A 1-hour test per candidate enables GPT to determine the skill potential, specific points of attention and allows to calculate and decide how much training is needed to achieve a set performance level. This offers huge benefits for the terminal, since they know exactly what to invest to achieve a set performance level.
  • Training and coaching of operators and workforce, operational training, terminal management training. GPT trains operators for STS cranes, mobile harbour cranes, RTG’s, RMG’s, straddle carriers, reach stackers, ECH, excavators, wheel loaders etc
  • Operations and services: GPT provides performing operators from it’s Antwerp pool to sites around the globe to operate your equipment (STS cranes, mobile harbour cranes, RTG’s, RMG’s, straddle carriers, reach stackers, ECH etc.)

Global Port Training realised projects in over 70 countries worldwide.
